She studied singing, piano and composition at the Barcelona Conservatoire. She made her debut in Girona, with Gilda in 1913 and at the Barcelona Liceu, with the same part, in 1914. In 1916, she sang Violetta and Gilda at the Teatro Real in Madrid, and at the Liceu in Barcelona, at the San Carlos, in Lisbon and at the Colón in Buenos Aires. In 1919, she began a brilliant career in Italy, with Rigoletto performances at La Scala in 1924. She also sang in London, Vienna and Paris. During her career, she did many performances in Barcelona, in particular of her most lyrical repertoire (Mimi, Butterfly, I Puritani). Her last performance on stage was Il Matrimonio segreto in 1949. She was a teacher of singing at the Barcelona Conservatoire until 1968, when she retired to Italy.

The delightful interpretations of opera, zarzuela and songs in the first CD devoted to her.
